What is the difference between Picatinny and Weaver mounts?
The basic difference between the Weaver and Picatinny slot dimension is that the Picatinny has a slightly wider, slightly deeper slot and standardized spacing of the slots.
Can a Weaver mount interface directly with a Picatinny?
Accessories designed for a Weaver system will fit Picatinny rails. Picatinny rails will not fit Weaver systems.
