Classic Connector
This is my new favorite connector. I love the trigger feel. With the stock 5.5 pound striker spring, it reduced trigger pull by approximately one pound. It has a tactile wall with a crisp break and short reset.
The general consensus is, the best trigger Glock ever offered was found in the Gen1 "Pencil Barrel 17L. Introduced in 1988, Glock's original "long minus" 3.5lb connector was the basis of this target pistol trigger. Custom Gunsmiths used this connector to build their signature trigger jobs and legitimately, their reputation in the shooting community. Unfortunately, Glock Inc. chose to redesign this icon in the early 90's. The long minus connector was short lived and supply dried up years ago.
Here at Lone Wolf Distributors, we have been absorbed with everything "Glock" for over two decades. During that time, we have seen a lot of trends come and go, and a lot of reinventing of the wheel. But often at the end of the day, you end up circling back to where it all began. We took a long hard look at this original connector, studying its angles and design. Recognizing perfection, we decided to stick to the original dimensions. Our mission was to resurrect this beauty but somehow make it better. And that's exactly what we accomplished by using the highest quality stainless steel as the base material.
The Classic 721 connector of 1988 is reborn!
