Ordering is simple:

General Notes:

  • If customer is using their own red dot optic, screws must be sent in with the red dot so we can ensure the holes are tapped to the proper screw. Also include the battery if you'd like us to install the optic here. This step is critical when choosing to do a slide melt for an optic that's not on the list. 
  • Optics that are new and not on the list have an extended lead time. See here for updated times.
  • If screws are not available, we offer replacement screws for Burris and Trijicon HERE
  • We cannot do cuts to Glock OEM slides with the MOS optic cuts.
  • Most optics mounting screws will result in a hole that protrudes into the extractor depressor plunger hole. Screw lengths are adjusted to compensate for this, but care must be taken to ensure you don't over Loctite screws resulting in dripping into the channel.

    3 slide melts and two slides Cerakoted

    I have had LW melt 3 slides total. My first project was G21 a few years ago. They cut the slide for a Trijicon RMR and coated the slide. The work was nothing short of perfect for a very fair price. In the last two years they did "race cuts" on my G43 and G43X slides. Again, both were PERFECT. The G43 slide was Cerakoted to match my 1st slide as part of a "bundle." The melt and the coating took 2 months, but returned PERFECT. Excellent job, guys!

    Glock Red Dot Milling

    Great service as this is really turned around in a week at a great price and fits the red dot with ever so slight interference fit so that there is absolutely no movement of the red dot on the slide when firing. Best Value for your Time and Money!!

    Had a Glock 19 Gen 5 cut for Holosun 407k. Turn around just under 2 weeks with a couple days snow delay with USPS. Dot fit like a glove, very happy!!

    COSTLY AND BAD EXPERIENCE

    I sent them my slide with a brand new Holosun 507C X2. I mailed my package insured because I was sending $600+ value. When I got back the installation done, when I opened the package the first thing, I noticed was a scratch on the front lens. I immediately tried to contact them, but I got VM. I sent an email explaining because I did not want to let my problem get old. In response I got and email telling me that they inspect their deliveries and the optics were on perfect condition. In other words, I have to take the loss (Amazon $309 + Tax) HOLOSUN do not warranty both lenses and Lone Wolf do not insure the package. If you ever decide to let them do this work, make sure that you and they mail the parts insured. Additionally, send them pictures before you mail and demand pictures of the work before they mail. LONE WOLF lack of professional response is extremely disappointing. I still have not been able to talk with anybody there. I am done with LONE WOLF. Manuel Martinez HOUSTON, TEXAS All items are inspected before leaving our facility, things can happen in shipping that we have no control over. We are replacing the red dot for Mr. Martinez. These issues take time to straighten out and we have to be given the chance to do that. I apologize that this happened and we will take care of it.

    Absolutely great work! Combat cut so when I add sights they will be perfect with the optic! Couldn't ask for better work and the price is right too!

    Opted for the Combat Cut to fit Stealth Gear chest rig. Tight final fitting with short noticeable lead time for a busy murse. Finish reminds me of CNC machining which costs three times as much or more. Quicker sight pictures, solid fit for on the move draws and recoils less with chuck of slide removed. My thumb sends its regards.

    Slide melt

    Very happy with my slide melt. I have a Glock 27 and wanted it milled for a Holosun red dot that I already had. I also wanted the rear sight in front of the dot. They installed the new sight’s for free that I purchased from them and bore sighted the red dot with the new sights. They did everything I wanted and did a great job! It was a fast turnaround time. The customer service was outstanding. The only two things that I think could have been better is they could have blued the milled out section which they did not do. I know I can do that myself but would have been nice. The other thing is I wish they did other brand of pistols like FN. But I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

    Red dot cut

    Wow. I am super impressed. I had held off for a long time because I had read that turn around times were crazy long, but when the black Friday deal popped up, I figured I could suck it up and deal with not having a few of my slides for up to two months.....I got my slide back in a week, and it is the crispest most flawless machine work I've seen on such a thing. I am so excited to get my other slides back that I sent a bit after the first. I can't recommend lonewolf enough, I have had repeated good experiences with them, and it makes me wonder about the complainers is see on Reddit and such from time to time. How can their experiences be so wildly different than mine? 11/10
