When we first launched the original Timberwolf frame, one of the first questions was “when will it be available in 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357SIG?” That time is now, because we’ve revamped and upgraded the design to bring you the Timberwolf Full Size. The first thing you’ll notice is that the TWF fits in your hand like a much smaller pistol.

The TWF-C and TWF-F accept Gen3 and Gen4 G17,17L,22,24,31,34,35, and 37 slides.

When using a Gen4 slide you simply remove the installed adapter in the dust cover area of the frame. Using Gen3 slides you leave the adapter in place to fill the gap between the slide and dust cover.

The TWF includes the dust cover adapter, removable magazine well, and interchangeable backstraps (TWL & TWF backstraps are interchangeable)

No matter what your shooting goal is, the TWF will fit your needs. Whether you want a gun for backwoods carry, a longslide for competition, a slim and easy to carry 9mm for personal protection, or just want to build the coolest gun at the range, the Timberwolf Fullsize can make your dreams come true.

If purchasing a bare frame with parts kit the same parts are used but not installed, if you are using your own parts please note most parts are GEN3 parts except the magazine catch and trigger housing which requires a GEN4 style part.

Great, but customer service is better!!

Posted by Joel McClure on 18th Sep 2024

I bought one on sale due to having the TWC1 frame for a Glock 19 and absolutely loving it. I put the TWF on a Glock 17 gen 3 and was having some issues with light primer strikes. I wrote a review about it and within 2 hours, Lori from customer service CONTACTED ME!!! I did not have to write them! She wanted to know, in further detail, what the issue was and what if anything I had done to resolve it. After talking with her, she sent me a new trigger shoe, bar and connector free. I replaced the parts and it runs flawless now. This is what a good company does to make their customers happy!! Stand by their products and help with solutions when problems arise, not just say you are SOL. I love the new set up!!

    Timber Wolf frame

I'm very impressed with this frame. It doesn't feel like any of my other handguns, it fits my hand so much more naturally and the grip angle is just right. The tolerances are tight and my Timney trigger wouldn't work and was rubbing but with OEM style parts it worked beautifully. I really like this frame

    On the fence

I ordered this for my Gen 3 G17. I will say lone wolf got it shipped to me quickly and I can’t argue about the price. I love the way the grip feels, the mag well, and the durable construction of this lower. In those categories I have no complaints. As for the reason I gave it only three stars. I have been a Glock admorer both personally and professionally for a long time now but boy was this lower a pain in my a$$. Due to such incredibly tight tolerances, I had about three hours of sanding and dremel work to get the trigger and reset to function properly. The cut out for the trigger itself was so tight I could barely get the trigger safety to latch and when I did it took about 10 lbs to get the trigger to break. I had to sand both sides of the trigger cut out to give it enough room to actuate smoothly. Then I had to sand the trigger bar side of the frame where the bar meets the trigger housing to prevent it from pinching the bar so tight keeping the trigger from being able to break or reset at all. After all of the sanding I had to polish the polymer sanded spots to smooth them again. All in all, if I wasn't already an experienced armorer this would have never been able to function and would have been a waste of money (NO RETURNS ON FFL ITEMS). With that being said, I am happy with the quality of the lower aside from the extremely tight tolerances. I love the way my Glock looks and can’t wait to put this through some rigorous range time. Remember that with this lower you will need a Gen 4 trigger housing and mag catch. Hello, I am contacting you regarding your review of our frame. I am sorry to hear you had issues with it. We do carry a lifetime warranty on all the products we manufacture and would have done a warranty inspection to resolve the issues. Again I am sorry you had issues, please let me know if we can help in anyway, Thank you have a great day, I took it out yesterday and ran multiple drills. Approximately 100-150 rounds and it ran flawless. Thank you very much for help and assistance. I knew the modifications were going to fix the problem the moment I set the trigger bar and housing in the frame. I could tell what ever modification was made drastically reduced/eliminated any friction between the trigger bar/housing/frame. Again, thank you very much for your assistance with this. I will be sure to recommend others to your company!

    TWL Frame

Have two of these. One for a G31 and the second for a custom build with a G34 custom slide. Fit, finish, and ergonomics are excellent. What a difference with grip and balance. Very satisfied and highly recommended.
